Saint Cloud is a city in central Florida, United States. It is part of the OrlandoKissimmeeSanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2019 U.S. Census, Saint Cloud had a population of 45,116. The city was founded in 1884 on the banks of Lake Tohopekaliga, by a group of settlers from Kentucky. Saint Cloud is named after Saint Clodoald, a 6th-century prince of the Merovingian dynasty who became a Catholic priest.

Saint Cloud is home to a number of historical sites, including the Saint Cloud Pioneer Village and the Saint Cloud Cemetery. The city is also home to a number of parks and recreation areas, including the Saint Cloud Lakefront Park and the Saint Cloud Golf Course.
